Deep Breathe. Here We Go!

Breathe in.
Breathe out.

It’s one week into 2013 and I feel like I need to be careful what I am asking for.
Because what I am asking for is coming at me. Fast.
Faster than I thought it would.

Breathe in.

I tell myself to breathe as date one turns into date two.
As the yoga teacher training I apply for in Bali comes back with a “you’re in” overnight.
As I sit across from the friend that is going to make my book a beautiful piece of art.
As I start at 7 am with breakfast with a friend and end at 3 am on the dance floor with many.

Breathe out.

My three BHAGs of 2013 are just that: big, hairy and audacious.
They are each comprised of smaller goals that must be completed first.
They require financial abundance, intentional yes and no’s, patience, and the perfect balance between juicy reflection and strong action.
And, one week in, I feel a pull to kick it into gear.
Now.

Breathe in.

Some days can feel big. Bigger than me. Bigger than what I think I’m ready for.
And then I come back to this moment and remember to breathe.
To let the nerves, the excitement, and the bewilderment all be ok.

Breathe out.

With every new breathe comes a second chance, giving us exactly what we need.
