This weekend is a big weekend in the land of Vancouver for two reasons.
#1: The lululemon athletica (ware)House Party is taking over BC Place. Once a year, in the US and Canada, lululemon hosts a sale of epic proportions (as we don’t usually have sales in the stores throughout the year). Since Vancouver hasn’t hosted this event since 2004, we are stepping up the game by renting out a massive venue in Vancouver for three days, partnering with One Yoga for the People for an incredible yoga class (with 400+ of our best friends) in the Stadium on Friday night, and leading a goal coaching session with my pals and vision+goal rock stars Jacki Carr & Julie Ball on Saturday. PS. Come find me chatting up the lovely people in line tomorrow. I start at 6:30 am – and I have a feeling people will already be lined up for when the doors open at 8.
#2: Deep in the heart of the west coast jungle… JDC West is being hosted by the UBC Sauder School of Business this weekend. As a previous competitor, proud coach, and current member of their Board of Directors, I am stoked to see JDC West come back to the city it was founded in. The best and brightest business students in Western Canada are boarding flights as. I. type! I’m so excited for the 2013 Organizing Committee to experience the fruits of their oh so valuable labour over the past year(+).
Time to juice up this battery – cause we’re going full tilt this weekend!

Hey Matt,
I stumbled upon your blog and am loving it! Thanks for the great posts. I saw you bouncing around the line this morning at the Warehouse party but didn’t get the chance to say hi… I’ve heard a lot about you though from Ali, Jess, and other Sauderites (all good things, don’t worry!).
