I had a lot of conversations over this past weekend about my commitment to being more unreasonable in my life. After all, remarkable results don’t come from being reasonable. Being unreasonable, to me, is about following the heart and not letting that little voice inside my head slow me down. I’m not committing to ignoring the voice, I just don’t want it to dictate my actions. Why?
The heart drives me to action, while the little voice inside my head drives me to rationalize, to plan, to weigh the options, and to “think things through.” It also makes me worry about what other people will think if I do take an action. The later is a vicious little action-killer!
Need some proof – take a look at the below video of a could-have-been love story:
If you’re after something or someone, it’s time to start being more unreasonable.

Agree 100% with this post! Sometimes you have to push that little voice aside and go with the heart…impulsiveness can be very positive!

Aww that video broke my heart. I was cheering Jane and James on, sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for them to each press Enter. How sad and frustrating and oh dear… familiar. Ack! Good call again, Corker. I vote for being more unreasonable!
