Marking a year together
The first snow fall this year was yesterday.
The first snow fall last year was our day.
Now, a year later, I am happy to still be sharing my life with an incredible partner who continues to push me to be the best Matt Corker I can be. He holds me accountable when my actions don’t scream with authenticity. He strengthens my faith and reinforces my values. He’s even willing to come along on those random adventures I plan (which says a lot)!! But best of all, when I hold his hand, it’s like day one all over again.
Today, I get to celebrate a year of smiles, tears, frustrations, laughter, and everything in between, with an amazing partner! Today, I get to remember that love is alive!
