?eacful ?umpkins
No trick-or-treating for me this year. Instead on Halloween my sis and I decided to take advantage of the heavily discounted pumpkins that were on sale that day. As we drank a great red, we chatted about our first weeks on our new jobs, our upcoming pursuits and ambitions, and of course, how much easier it was to carve a pumpkin was when you actually had arms long enough to reach inside it.
My pumpkin was inspired by Blend Apparel’s “?eace” shirt. It’s rational:
We want this to be our generation’s peace sign. Asking the viewer or wearer to ponder who(?), what(?), where(?), when(?), why(?), and how(?) they can attain peace. Globally, personally, and peacefully.
Despite our very similar outlooks on life, I enjoy the fact that my sis and I are still able to produce very different outputs. Especially when her output incorporates a banana smile!
