Using Natural Momentum

Sometimes it’s hard to keep going at full speed ahead. After all, creating your own energy all the time can become incredibly tiring. That’s why I love it when a turn of events provides a natural jolt to my system!

Celebrating New Years or a birthday; getting a new job or boss; taking a different course; or even just starting work again after a weekend. All these events have a natural energy to them that allows us to get more things accomplished or change the way we have previously done things. New goals and aspirations allow us to rethink our current situation and reach for something better. Out with the old, and in with the new (energy)!

This past week was a perfect reminder of the power of natural momentum. I got my hair cut, cleaned the apartment, rearranged my room, took Boomer (my car) for a check up and bath, used up some old gift certificates, learned how to construct my first Prezi presentation, had great conversations about my future career path, and spent some quality time with the friends I want to see more of in my life. My to do list is remarkably sparse, while my energy level (and readiness to tackle the upcoming week) is at an all time high.

How are you going to use the natural momentum a new week brings you to add some fresh energy into your life? Monday is a great excuse to take your spot on stage and perform like you’ve never performed before! He sure did!
