Lessons learned:
- Don’t look at your (crying) family and best friend when thanking them unless you want that lump in your throat to get bigger.
- Provoke the cheering section. A big thank you to Adam Martin, Carlee Blades and Kimmie Bebluk for your role in making the entire ceremony as spirited as could be.
