Summer shirts + Brooklyn artists = wit-tastic!

Last summer, while I was visiting a good friend in NYC, I was introduced to the slickest t-shirts I’d seen in a long time: the limited edition t-shirts printed by Brooklyn Industries. Why do I think they’re awesome? Easy:

  • 6 new (and well crafted) styles are released each month – making them current (and easy on the eyes).
  • Only a limited quantity (up to 300) of each design are printed – making them rare (and therefore precious).
  • They sell organic cotton shirts with the majority of their t-shirts printed locally in Brooklyn, in their facility that uses wind-power – making them environmentally-responsible.

But my favourite part?
They intentionally title each of their limited edition t-shirts with an alluring name! Not only does the shirt have a wicked design, but, with a name, it has a story. By publicizing the inspiration and deeper meaning behind each name they make a t-shirt become thought-provoking and witty.

As you can see, my love for original titles comes in many mediums (pun intended)! When’s the last time your closet matched your mindset?
