Adding in a new tune

I have an extreme love for music and really great backbeats. I find myself constantly looking for new songs to hum in my head or a cool beat to have a dance party to. Finding new tunes or artists that have yet to hit the radio may be one of my favourite things to do – but I can’t deny that I’m a sucker for Top 40 as well.

How do I do it you might ask? I dig through international iTunes stores, follow my favourite artists on Twitter, and decipher the snippets of music used in television ads and movie trailers. In the past, I tried to read through local concert listings in the newspaper, but got bogged down by too many advertisements of bad acts that overwhlemed the number of true gems.

Instead of keeping all the great new tunes I find locked away in an iTunes playlist, I have decided to share a song I have recently downloaded, played on repeat, or had a dance party to at the end of each of my blog posts. Will this change the focus of my blog entries? Of course not! In my eyes, this is just another way I can help great people connect with great ideas. (Artists have an incredible way of articulating all the things you want to say but don’t know how – and then putting an awesome melody to it!)

Just wanted to give you a heads up!
