Today at work, my good pal Samantha decided it was time to bring in the Christmas tunes (as if my office wasn’t loud and rowdy enough as it is). We started talking about our favourite Christmas tunes and if we prefered the holiday favs of Frank Sinatra vs. Mariah Carey. The classic carols vs. new age pop if you will. I personally enjoy the artists like Colbie Cailliat and Chris Brown that have found some common ground and modernized the jazzy tunes with some new back beats. Cause who doesn’t love a good back beat!
As I now search through my holiday music collection in an attempt to update it with the most current tunes, I came across the group Straight No Chaser. They are positively BRILLIANT! True performers and great vocalists.
Haas, this is a group you need to check out for sure! Their teen sensation is awesome!
