If you could change your life…

… would you?

Short answer: HECK YES!

Now I say that not because I am unhappy or unsatisfied with my current life. Quite the opposite actually. I work with a great group of people doing some really exciting things.
That being said, an opportunity to work as an intern with Seth Godin (a very talented marketer and entrepreneur) in New York City for 6 months doesn’t come along every day. I sat down with my boss and told her about this opportunity and her words to me were “If only 6 people are going to get this, why shouldn’t one of them be you?” (Thanks again for that chat Michelle).

If you haven’t heard about this opportunity already I encourage you to read his blog post and read more about the opportunity itself.

In order to apply, you must create a Squidoo lens and answer some questions while proving to him that you have what he is looking for. The initial hype of the opportunity is now dying down and, unfortunately, some great people who I thought would apply are not.

Well, I’m taking a risk and being bold. I have created my lens and will be submitting it in to Seth this Wednesday. That’s right, with your help, I could be flying off to New York in January! If I asked nicely, could you please help me in the following ways:

1) Visit my lens at http://www.squidoo.com/ThatsaCorker – participate in the poll at the end and leave a comment with your thoughts/opinions/etc
2) Tell me of any other great people you know that are applying – like this incredible woman. I would love to help them out too.
3) Apply yourself! You can do this too! You still have a week to submit your application and the best time to make a change is now!

Thanks for all the support I’ve received already. This is gonna be exciting!
